See what our clients say about us!
My name is Rick Landis. I’m Director of Business Development for Newport Diversified. We are a fourth generation family owned business, focusing on “Family Entertainment”. Currently we operate a large videogame, jukebox, pool table route, a Family Entertainment Center including a 68 lane bowling center, and four open-air marketplaces, including the largest swap meet encompassing 50 acres, in the State of Nevada.
I have known Paul Smith personally and professionally for over 40 years. I have watched and followed the development and growth of his various business endeavors during this time. One that stands out, is Paul’s involvement in the Auto Trader, which as Sales and Business Director, he was responsible in building into the premiere commanding force in that industry.
During his tenure he introduced and developed an automotive auction area for the swap meet and other automotive events featured at our location, also building cross promotion relationships for his Hispanic automotive classified publications.
Paul has a business acumen and work ethic that is a very uncommon commodity I have rarely seen in the 50 years I’ve been in business. Paul took the time to learn the nuances and fine details of my business and bring advertising / promotional campaigns which were truly unique and “win-win” for both of us.
In addition to the unique auto auction production, one example of Paul’s ingenuity applied is he observed the swap meet would be more attractive / provide a better customer experience if we had more trash receptacles throughout the facility. So he pitched me an offer to provide hundreds of brand new 50 gallon size plastic trash drums, each professionally wrapped with the colorful Auto Trader ad at no cost to us. Over a period of years he replaced damaged and worn barrels. This single program ultimately saved us tens of thousands of dollars.
I can count on one hand the number of people I have met during my career like Paul who approach advertising projects more like a consultant or a business partner than an advertising or account representative.
Paul’s more recent successful move to enter into new businesses such as events production and specialty shows highlight his skill diversity and depth of creativity.
Paul’s track record clearly demonstrates his ability to take these projects from concept to fruition. I would highly recommend Paul Smith and On The Edge Promotions either as an event partner and or promoter.

Please consider this letter as a high recommendation for Paul Smith and On The Edge Promotions.
Paul and his company have been one of our event promoters since we opened our venue back in 2006. He has promoted and produced dozens of events at our venue, including trade shows, consumer, shows and special events. Home Shows, Craft Shows, Holiday Shows and even an Art and Ink Festival were just a few of the shows we partnered with him on.
His attention to detail and his system of success in obtaining booth revenue always made him an easy choice to partner with. And his knowledge of selling and promoting multiple event categories was always a plus for our hotel/casino.
His knowledge and friendship was always greatly appreciated and we would absolutely partner with him again.
Respectfully,
Steve Stallworth

Promotion of WestWorld Event Center to establish the center as a key location for national events. To date Paul has been significant in bringing in national event producers from outside of the Arizona marketplace. Paul Smith’s expertise, knowledge, and work ethic has been instrumental in achieving success at WestWorld. Paul has also been crucial in developing new events at WestWorld. His events are well executed and attended, leaving a lasting positive impression on all that visit WestWorld.
In 2016, NWCC retained On the Edge Promotions and Paul Smith to assist in building The Children’s Learning and Play Festival. This successful event brought in over 12,000 attendees in its first year, with over 80 vendors participating.
On the Edge and NWCC participated together as a Revenue Share after all expenses were paid. On the Edge supplied all needed invoices and contractual commitments within one week of shows conclusion. We would highly recommend On the Edge as a Rev Share partner or as a management contractor for production services.
